Dark Chocolate Banana Pops with Pecans

Dark Chocolate Banana Pops with Pecans

2 large bananas, cut in half

2 tablespoons lowfat milk

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Special supplies: 4 popsicle sticks or cake pop sticks

Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper. Push the sticks into the cut ends of the bananas, just before they poke through the other sides.

Microwave the milk until bubbly, about 30 seconds. Add milk to the chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until melted. Dip the bananas into the chocolate, using a rubber spatula or spoon as needed to cover on all sides. Sprinkle with pecans. Place the bananas on the sheet pan and freeze for at least 4 hours. Enjoy frozen.

Prep time: 15 minutes, plus freezing time

Cook time: 1 minute
