The Best Kitchen Knives
Since my knife care video and knife storage video a few months back were both so popular, I took it a step further to show you the exact knives that I use the most at home.
Good knives make such a difference. I know that some of you hate chopping- you’ve told me. Good sharp knives make the cooking process oh so much more enjoyable.
Here’s the short list:
1. Santoku knife for fresh produce.
2. Boning knife for meat.
3. 12-inch chef knife for larger items.
4. Large serrated edge knife for a clean slice when the other knives won’t do.
5. Slicer knife for larger cuts of meat.
6. Paring knife– I have multiples!
And here is one more bonus recommendation.
I know- some of them are a bit pricey. But if you take care of your knives, they will last a very long time. I still have and use knives from culinary school 15 years ago.
Do you use any of these? Which one do you want to get first?
