Social Media Nutrition Intern in Phoenix Area Wanted

Overview: Chef Dudash Nutrition is seeking a social media intern with writing and communications experience. Our current social media intern happily worked with us for nearly a year, but alas, she is graduating and soon moving on to exciting adventures.
Education: College student majoring in dietetics, marketing, communications or journalism preferred. At least 2 years of college education is preferred
Experience: Working knowledge of Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest
Location: Phoenix, AZ area. Almost all of the work can be done virtually, some optional work is on-location
Employee type: Volunteer (1-5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Post to Michelle Dudash’s professional Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest accounts on an almost daily basis. Content matter provided by Michelle.
- Support PR efforts, brand awareness and consistent marketing communication efforts
- Coordinate with other team members, as needed (nutrition assistant and the boss)
- Additional opportunities available (such as assisting with props at video shoots at TV stations)
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Perfect spelling is a must.
Detail-oriented
Proactive and organized
Proficiency in social media platforms
Knowledge of the social media world of blogging, photo sharing, etc.
Must have their own computer, internet and smart phone with email and text messaging (You won’t be bothered 24/7, but during the day, if there is an urgent matter you may need to be available for communications.)
Ability to respond via email within the same day (We rarely bother you on weekends)
The ideal candidate should:
Have a sense of urgency
Be pleasant and easy to work with
Have a positive, go-getter attitude—this is a no whining or blaming zone
Must be interested in (preferably passionate about) food, and even better—healthy food
Must be deadline oriented
Must be able to complete some tasks with a quick turnaround time by deadline–often within 24 hours. Sometimes sooner.
Have an interest, bordering on obsession, with social media
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, sometimes intense, environment
